(Grand Rapids, Mich) Two-time Michigan PGA Teacher of the Year Dave Kendall will be one of the headliners at the 19th annual West Michigan Golf Show to be held Feb. 9-11 at the DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids. Founder of Kendall Academy in Ann Arbor, Kendall will be sharing his instructional expertise and philosophy with patrons in a series of clinics on Friday and Saturday. Also on stage will be Frank Thomas, the Chief Technical Advisor for Golf Digest and The Golf Channel. The former Technical Director for the USGA, Thomas will be giving presentations on equipment and technology on Saturday.
Free golf lessons by PGA professionals will be provided courtesy of Boyne USA while junior clinics will be provided by the First Tee of Boyne Highlands. And the famed Wanamaker Trophy, presented to the winner of the PGA Championship, will be on display as part of an exhibit by the 2008 PGA Championship to be held at Oakland Hills CC.
