Innovative New Piece Offers Three Garments in One: Dress, Polo and Skirt

CARLSBAD, Calif. (February 7, 2007) -adidas Golf, a brand of the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company, has introduced the ClimaCool Convertible Dress. A revolutionary new women’s athletic garment, the Convertible Dress is designed to be worn as a dress or converted into two pieces – polo and skirt – that can be worn separately.

The ClimaCool Convertible Dress features CoolMax® Extreme (by Invista) and Lycra® to combine cool comfort with outstanding freedom of motion. CoolMax Extreme, by Invista, wicks sweat away from the skin to the outer fabric surface for quick evaporation, keeping the athlete drier, cooler and more comfortable. Pronounced mesh panels deliver additional ventilation.

"Our innovative ClimaCool Convertible Dress is a great addition to any female athlete’s wardrobe," said Patricia Dahan, adidas Golf director of global apparel. "The fit is athletic and the styling is fashion forward. Combine that with its CoolMax® Extreme and Lycra fabrication technology and the result is a garment that looks great, feels great and fits great whether worn as a dress, polo or skirt."
