In Sunderland’s continuing quest to offer more apparel that is ultra soft and quiet, the company announces the addition of a men’s fleece jacket utilizing Polartec Wind Pro® fabric. This new jacket is extremely breathable, yet provides 4X more wind resistance than traditional fleece. The fabric is the new "Super Fleece" which spans an incredibly wide range of conditions, performs as both outerwear and insulation, and offers exceptional durability.
Proprietary yarns and a very tight construction greatly reduce the effects of wind chill, the Achilles heel of traditional fleece. The durable water repellent outer surface sheds rain and snow. The special backing traps air and provides a high warmth-to-weight ratio. Inside and out, this fabric is finished to offer maximum durability and pill-free performance. The fabric will retain its insulating ability and original appearance after repeated use and laundering.
Because of its unique structure, the fabric is highly breathable, maintaining high breath ability to keep you from over heating and therefore extending the ability to wear the jacket throughout the year.
