Gist is the president of Noram Management, LLC, which operates The Golf Club at Circle C in Austin, Texas, and he is highly respected for his leadership in turning Circle C into one of Austin’s finest golfing venues.
During his golf business career, Gist also spent 12 years at the Barton Creek Resort, where he served in a variety of roles including assistant professional, teaching professional, club manager, head professional, director of golf operations and director of golf sales. He has received numerous awards, including the esteemed "Best of Barton Creek" Award in 2001, and he was named the 2006 Public Course Merchandiser of the Year by the Southern Texas PGA of America.
"The Golf Foundation of Texas is quickly emerging as a strong connection between golfers, professionals and industry leaders in Texas, and I’m very pleased to be a part of the organization," says Gist, who is currently serving his third term on the board of directors of the Southern Texas PGA of America (STPGA).
