#1 Spike on Tour Continues Strong Season
Marlborough, MA-February 13, 2007- CHAMP Spikes picked up its 4th major victory on the young season when the winner of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am sported CHAMP for his first win of the year and his 30th career title.
The winner chose the CHAMP Cermec® spike, the ultimate in metal spike technology, as he battled whipping winds and soggy rains en route to his five-stroke victory. The entire field fought off unsightly weather in the first three rounds of play when 73% of the players wearing CHAMP Spikes chose to switch to CHAMP from their original equipment.
