HARVEST, Ala. (Feb. 14, 2007) – Balance-Certified Golf, an acclaimed shaft tuning system which uses strategically-placed weights tailored to individual golfers’ needs, will present an educational session at the 2007 Professional Clubmakers’ Society Annual Membership Conference, to be held March 8-11 in Louisville, Ky. Jeff Lindner, president of Balance-Certified Golf, will speak to members and attendees at 9:00 a.m. Friday, March 9, in a presentation entitled "Golf Club Vibration, Feel, and Sales."
"I look forward to sharing with PCS members ways in which attention to golf club vibration and feel can lead to more satisfied golfers," Lindner said. "Balance-Certified Golf’s Pro-Balance system, used by many tour players, now is also in demand by an increasing number of amateur golfers of every playing ability."
Lindner will discuss the role of static and dynamic properties of golf clubs and how they affect human performance from a control-systems approach. He will describe how Balance-Certified Golf products affect/perturb these properties so a golfer realizes better control, and how the Balance-Certified weighting system significantly improves club control using these properties. Then he will discuss how the Balance-Certified weighting system used as a tool adds value to every club sale, thus increasing customer loyalty and repeat business.
Balance-Certified Golf’s industry-leading back-weighting technology, developed by a former NASA engineering team in 1999, is in use by a number of tour players, including Scott Hoch and Tom Jenkins. Phil White, long drive champion, also is a devotee of Balance-Certified Golf.
The Pro-Balance line introduces strategically-located weights that can be used to adjust a golf club’s vibration and response characteristics and can be installed on any brand of golf equipment and any club in the bag. Balance-Certified’s scientific approach to golf club dynamics helps transform "feel" into a definable and tunable parameter. Independent testing has demonstrated that the Balance-Certified Golf system delivers increased ball speed in drivers, greater iron play control and a tangible benefit in "feel" and distance control of putters. Balance-Certified Golf’s system is now in use at the Parmasters Golf Training Center in Memphis, Tenn., as part of the center’s instructional and club-fitting programs.
Balance-Certified Golf’s Pro-Balance weighting system and power rings can be installed by club fitters or by individual golfers with the newly-introduced self-fit kit. Balance-Certified Golf systems can be found at many retail golf shops across the U.S.
