FootJoy Launches 2007 SignBoy TV Campaign

SignBoy Campaign takes home the 2006 ING Industry Honors

Fairhaven, MA – FootJoy, the #1 Shoe and Glove in Golf, announces today the launch of their 2007 SignBoy television campaign. Appearing with SignBoy in this year’s campaign will be some of the top PGA Tour Professionals including Adam Scott, Davis Love III, Camilo Villegas and Arron Oberholser. Matt Griesser, a Los Angeles-based actor once again will play the FootJoy-fanatic character, SignBoy. Griesser has appeared as the SignBoy character since the campaign’s initial season in 1999. The creative for the campaign was produced by the ad agency Arnold Worldwide, based out of Boston, Massachusetts.

FootJoy’s SignBoy TV campaign won the 2006 award from ING Industry Honors for Golf TV Ad Series.

"The humorous interaction between SignBoy and the Tour players continues to resonate very well with all golf consumers," said Andy Jones, Vice President of Marketing for FootJoy. "In addition, the ad recall and correct branding numbers for this campaign are extremely high for consumer product advertising."

FootJoy will run two SignBoy spots in 2007: Reading the Line and Courtesy Car. The commercials feature innovative FootJoy products, PGA Tour Professionals and the FootJoy enthusiast SignBoy. The spots began airing at the FBR Open in Phoenix.

The new commercials can be viewed at www.footjoy.com/signboy. Visit the website, provide feedback on the commercials and enter to win FootJoy product. The Contest runs February 15th- March 15th.
