ForeFront Taps Jim Blugerman To Lead Sales For Devant Sport Towels

MONROE, N.C. – Jim Blugerman has joined Devant Sport Towels, a division of ForeFront Group, as national sales manager, according to Senior Vice President Rick Sheppard. Devant, which was acquired by ForeFront in December, is the leading supplier of custom sport towels to the golf market.

"Devant has been tremendously successful in the golf market and is poised for more growth with the infusion of capital we received from the ForeFront acquisition," said Sheppard. "We needed someone to direct our sales efforts and Jim’s sales and leadership experience make him uniquely qualified to handle the job."

Previously, Blugerman was vice president of sales and marketing for California-based accessory maker Golf Design. He also held the same position with golf headwear company Texace Ltd. Blugerman has 35 years of experience in the golf industry including 14 years in "green grass" sales and over 17 years at the management level.

Devant currently owns more golf towel patents than any other golf accessory supplier and has a long history of golf towel innovation. In January 2006, Devant acquired Sir Christopher Hatton, Inc., creating the industry’s largest Jacquard woven towel producer. Devant is also recognized as the biggest overall manufacturer of Image dyed and Embroidered golf and resort beach towels.
