Seven Adams Tour Pros Finish In Top 10
PLANO, TEXAS, February 12, 2007 – Not only did Adams Golf (OTCBB:ADGO) equipment fill the bags of many playing at the Allianz Championship last week, a number of Adams Tour Staff Players filled the leaderboard when play finished Sunday. Along with winning the overall wood count at the event, seven of the Top 10 finishers were Adams Golf Tour Staff Players, including Brad Bryant, R.W. Eaks and Morris Hatalsky, who all tied for third place.
Over 26 percent of all the woods in play at the event were Adams Golf drivers, fairway woods and hybrids. Adams Golf won the fairway wood count accounting for more than 31 percent of the total fairway woods in the event, including the new Insight BTY. And for the third straight event, Adams Golf was the outright leader in the hybrid count with a staggering 53% of the total hybrids in play. Additionally, the winner of the Allianz Championship played a 22-degree Idea a2 Hybrid.
"Our products and players really shined at the Allianz Championship last week," said Max Puglielli, director of tour operations for Adams Golf. "We were thrilled with how many of our drivers, fairway woods and hybrids were in play at the tournament. Having a week like this just proves that our products meet the performance demands of these world-class golfers, and that’s a credit to our engineers and designers."
Along with the aforementioned third-place finishers, Adams Golf Tour Staff Players in the Top 10 also included Dana Quigley in sixth place, and Allen Doyle, Scott Hoch and Des Smyth who all tied for ninth.
