Rife Putters Capture 2nd Place Finish at The Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am

February 22, 2007

Sanford, FL – Rife Putters captured a T-2nd Place Finish and had 10 putters in play this past weekend on The Champions Tour at the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am held at the TPC Tampa Bay. Rife Putters ranked 2nd on the Darrel Survey, a comprehensive report of players’ equipment conducted at every stop on the PGA and Champions Tour, for the second week in a row. A T-2nd Finish with the new Island Series Cayman putter was Rife’s fourth Top 10 Finish in the past two weeks. The Cayman was T-2nd in Putts Per Round for the event with 28 and helped the Champions Tour Player earn a paycheck of $128,800.

The new Island Series putters from Rife will utilize the same revolutionary RollGroove TechnologyTM and Lie-Aline Fitting System that fueled the success of the Two-Bar, Aussie, and Mr. Beasley putters in the past two years on the Tour.

The Barbados, Antigua and Martinique putters, introduced as prototypes on the PGA and Champions Tours in 2006, have already captured numerous victories and Top Ten Finishes and have found their way into several of the top Tour Players hands.

About Rife Putters

Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGroove faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
