KAHUKU, OAHU, Hawaii. — Paula Creamer made her mark on the start of the season at the SBS Open by winning her third title on the Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. With a strive to win in fierce winds, Paula had a fantastic 40-foot putt on the 17th hole of the final round, resulting in a one shot victory. Sundog Eyewear was celebrating all the way with Paula, as she was wearing the very first prototype of her new "STRIVE" sunglass and the latest addition to her Paula Creamer Eyewear Collection.
"It was blowing hard. There were holes out there that were very difficult," said Paula when asked about the strong wind conditions on Saturday January 17. Wind was just one of the concerns Paula Creamer asked Sundog Eyewear to address when she consulted on the design of her collection, the first sunglass line developed for an LPGA player. Sundog Eyewear is thrilled to be associated with Paula in creating the collection and the newest addition, which debuted at the PGA Merchandise Show last month in Florida.
"We were honored that Paula was wearing the new STRIVE sunglass when she played the first tournament of the season" said John Whitney, Sundog Eyewear Vice President of Product Development. Several months in production, Paula was so impressed with the first injection prototype presented to her in late December, she kept it and wore it while playing Turtle Bay. "Paula’s win was celebrated by our Company around the world, along with the new STRIVE glass and the success of her eyewear Collection" added Whitney.
Like all three current designs in the Paula Creamer Collection – FIERCE, MYSTERIOUS and KHARISMA, the new STRIVE sunglass reflects Paula’s perfected balance of genuine performance and exceptional style. Sundog Eyewear is pleasantly overwhelmed with the market’s response to Paula’s latest addition and the new STRIVE will be available at fine retailers worldwide in the Summer 2007.
