Gastonia, NC – AccuFLEX Golf collected it 22nd Tour Win this past weekend at The Jacob’s Creek Open Championship in Australia. The winner of the Nationwide Tour event posted a final-round 71 to finish at 12-under-par at the Kooyonga Golf Club using an AccuFLEX ICON V.2 shaft in his driver. Proving once again "It pays to play AccuFLEX Golf shaft," and this time, it paid $108,000 to the winner!
"The AccuFLEX ICON V.2 was the shaft that started it all for us on the Tour," said Jody Baucom, President of AccuFLEX Golf. "We’ve had 2 Major Championships and several other Tour Victories with it already. With all of the new shaft models and sexy paint schemes we’ve added to our lineup, the ICON V.2 seems to get overlooked. But it’s still used by several of the top Tour Players out thereâ?¦and for good reasonâ?¦it’s a great shaft."
The ICON V.2 was AccuFLEX Golf’s first successful "Tour Shaft" and it established them as a leader in the premium shaft market. Countless R&D hours were spent developing AccuFLEX Golf’s now famous proprietary, advanced A2 Composite material which provides the consistent feel and quick recovery rate that is expected of AccuFLEX shafts. The shaft itself provides golfers with a consistent mid ball flight and is surprisingly forgiving for a wide variety of players.
The shaft weight is 66 grams in Regular Flex and 68 grams in Stiff flex. It also boasts a 3.2 degree torque rating which provides stability at impact.
AccuFLEX Golf’s international design team uses the finest materials available along with the company’s unique, proprietary filament winding process to make its premium line of advanced design composite Golf Shafts. AccuFLEX Golf’s Evolution became the first Nano-Technology shaft to win on Any PGA Tour at the Virginia Beach Open on April 24th of last year. AccuFLEX Golf shafts have Won A Tour Championship, Three Major Championships, Twenty-Two Tour Wins (on various PGA Tour’s), Hundreds of Top Ten Finishes and 13 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championships, in the past four years.
