Tournament Champion Plays Idea Pro Hybrid
PLANO, TEXAS, February 27, 2007 – For the third consecutive Nationwide Tour event of 2007, Adams Golf (OTCBB:ADGO) hybrids ranked #1 in the hybrid count, according to the Darrell Survey. With 64 hybrids in play, Adams Golf accounted for a staggering 50% of the total hybrids played. Thirteen other hybrid brands combined for the other 50%. Having such a high percentage of the field playing Adams hybrids, it was no surprise that the tournament champion was among that group, playing a 20-degree Idea Pro Hybrid.
"Because of their unmatched versatility, workability and reliability, more and more of our hybrids are being played every week by these tour pros," said Max Puglielli, Adams Golf director of tour operations. "The players need these clubs to perform at all times and when half the total hybrids in play are from Adams Golf, that’s proof that they appreciate and trust the performance of our clubs."
Along with winning the hybrid count, the company also topped the fairway wood count on the Nationwide Tour for the first time this year. The number of Adams Golf fairway woods in play included the new Insight BTY Fairway Wood that is constructed with an industry-first combination of a one-piece titanium face and crown brazed to a stainless steel chassis.
