About The ICON Lite
The ICON Lite is the finest 45-gram weight range shaft ever produced, bar none. This addition to our line was immediately put into play on the Champions Tour during its first week of availability, and has found its way into many legends bags since then. It features AccuFLEX Golf’s A2 technology and has been reported to add some ridiculous amounts of distance to many of its users. It is extremely durable at 45 grams and can withstand some higher swing speeds. Available in A, R, S flexes.
About The ICON v.2
AccuFLEX cannot say enough about this versatile shaft! The lighter weight version of the original ICON, the v.2 is the winner of 3 Major Championships, and was used by Chris Couch to win the 2003 Nationwide Tour Championship. In addition, it also incorporates A2 Composite material which provides the consistent feel and quick recovery rate that is expected of AccuFLEX shafts. The shaft itself provides golfers with a consistent mid ball flight and is surprisingly forgiving for a wide variety of players. We love to sell these shafts as a portion of the proceeds of sales from this shaft will benefit The Driving 4 Life Foundation in Memory of Bruce Edwards, Tom Watson’s life long caddy who lost his battle with ALS in 2004.
AccuFLEX Golf’s international design team uses the finest materials available along with the company’s unique, proprietary filament winding process to make its premium line of advanced design composite Golf Shafts. AccuFLEX Golf’s Evolution became the first Nano-Technology shaft to win on Any PGA Tour at the Virginia Beach Open on April 24th, 2005. AccuFLEX Golf shafts have Won A Tour Championship, Three Major Championships, Twenty-Two Tour Wins (on various PGA Tour’s), Hundreds of Top Ten Finishes and 13 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championships, in the past four years.
