Field-Leading Driving Accuracy Keys Victory While Five Top-Eight Finishers Played Graphite Design Models
(SAN DIEGO, California) – Graphite Design — maker of some of the most widely played graphite driver shaft models on the PGA TOUR — today announces the winner of the Chitimacha Louisiana Open played its YS-6 shaft model, and led the field in driving accuracy, according to the Darrell Survey.
Using the YS-6 in his driver and YS-7 in his 3-wood, the winner claimed victory on the third playoff hole at Le Triomphe Golf Club in Broussard, La. The victor’s 78.8-percent driving accuracy tied for the week’s best mark with another golfer playing the YS-6 model in his driver. The runner-up also utilized Graphite Design’s YS-Hybrid model in a pair of clubs while five top-eight finishers carried Graphite Design shafts during the event.
