(San Francisco, CA) April 3, 2007 – Looking for a challenge this summer? Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps announce the newest addition to the first-class roster of junior golf training programs – Advanced Player Schools. Designed for junior golfers wanting to hone their golf skills and achieve the next level of their playing careers.
An intense, five-day training, Nike’s Advanced Player Schools offer a co-ed environment open to junior golfers, ages 12-18, and are recommended for players with a handicap of 15 or less. For several hours a day, campers will learn to hone their promising skills under the instruction of seasoned golf professionals, while playing some of the finest courses in the U.S.
"If you want to succeed in competition you need commitment, passion, and willingness to work hard. For those who are ready to accept the challenge, the Advanced Player Schools are a must for juniors with high school and collegiate golf careers in their futures," states Marc Haddad, National Director, Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps.
The daily curriculum includes a mix of small group instruction and on-course play with staff who provide invaluable tips on course management and shot selection. Camp facilities offer multifaceted practice areas and challenging golf courses. The primary focus is improvement and fine-tuning in an atmosphere that is golf-intensive.
Advanced Player Schools are located at superior golf courses throughout the country including; Monterey Peninsula, PGA National Resort & Spa, Hilton Head – Daufuskie Island Resort & Breathe Spa, and Seaver Golf Academy – Poppy Ridge, to name just a few.
