Golf World Announces Results Of Third Women’s College Coaches’ Poll Of 2007

Florida Southern Remains Number One

NEW YORK, NY— The third Golf World/NGCA Division II Coaches’ Poll has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine and the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I and III, will appear in the April 6 issue of Golf World and can be viewed online now at www.golfworld.com/womenspoll.

Florida Southern remains No.1 in the poll, earning six of the eight first-place votes. The Lady Mocs came in second at the Florida Intercollegiate Championship, finishing only behind Division I USF.

Rounding out the top five are: Rollins (No.2); Lynn (No.3); Ferris State (No.4); Nova Southeastern and West Florida (T-No.5).
