Miami, Florida – Bette & Court’s business in Canada approaches one million dollars in two years. The Company also establishes an extensive international distribution agreement that will bring the brand into 20 countries in Western Europe and Dubai during 2007.
The Company began distributing product into the Canadian Market in 2004 through a company known for its international expertise as a hosiery importer and distributor based in Ontario. Today, both Bette & Court and Swing – Bette & Court’s performance collection – are found in numerous golf pro shops including prestigious Golf Link courses, such as Glen Abbey and Rattlesnake, as well as in fine off course golf retailers such as Golftown from British Columbia to Maritimes. Jay Silver, Vice President of Product Development, Sales & Marketing, notes "It’s all about the fit. We have been able to dress more woman in high quality, performance golf apparel at reasonable price points than any other manufacturer. The reality is that she feels great in Bette & Court and Swing and she keeps coming back for more. Brand loyalty is increasing exponentially!"
Marked by it success in North America, Maria Erickson, President and CEO of Bette & Court expanded the Company’s focus into Western Europe. In February, 2007 Erickson signed and agreement with Europe based Upperclass Golf E.K. to begin an aggressive foray into a broader international arena. "Many companies approached us after reviewing our product in U.S. stores and on our website. We wanted to have the right partnership and when Upperclass approached us last year and visited our headquarters we knew it was the right fit." says Erickson.
Upperclass Golf was founded by Stephanie Otto, a former top ranking corporate executive to offer better service and product choice to the growing ranks of European golfers. She and her highly qualified and creative team at Upperclass Golf now have exclusive rights to sell Bette & Court and Swing in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Great Britain, Ireland, France Spain, Portugal, Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland. Czech Republic, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Greece/Cyrs, Egypt and Dubai.
