Junior Golf Club Manufacturer Expands Into South Korea With Media Blitz
LENEXA, KANSAS (April 10, 2007) – The junior golf movement is just beginning in South Korea and Accu-Length Expandable Junior Golf Clubs is at the center of its youth golfing revolution.
During a recent press conference in Seoul, South Korea’s capitol, with a plethora of print, radio and television in attendance, Accu-Length announced that it has signed an exclusive distributorship agreement with Together International of Seoul to become the premier line of junior clubs sold throughout the country. In accordance with the agreement, Accu-Length clubs will be sold through such outlets as home shopping channels, offline stores, online malls and trade shows, including the recent Korean Exhibition.
Accu-Length clubs will also be sold and distributed through the new Rudy Duran Learning Centers, which will be developed throughout South Korea. Duran, who was Tiger Woods’ first junior golf coach when he was four years old, is the spokesman for Accu-Length. Duran and Rick Rutter, President and Founder of OnTrack Sports, were in Seoul for the press conference and were truly impressed with the event and media interest.
"Jay Park of Together International, has a passion and vision for Accu-Length in Korea which was evident from the moment we arrived in Seoul," says Rutter. "He and his quality team there are going to make Accu-Length a sensation in a very short period of time."
"Being associated with Accu-Length and Rudy Duran, who is revered in my country for his association with Tiger Woods, and being the exclusive distributor of Accu-Length products, is a great honor," says Jay Park, CEO of Together International. "Rudy Duran is one of the most acclaimed junior instructors in golf, and Accu-Length offers the best junior golf equipment available for beginning and developing golfers. This is an incredible team to launch golf to the youth in South Korea."
"South Koreans are extremely avid golfers, and I’m looking forward to helping grow the game there in whatever ways I can," says Duran. "My learning centers will provide everything a junior golfer needs to learn the game and Accu-Length products will be great assets for them in that regard."
Together International will be actively promoting and expanding junior golf on many fronts throughout South Korea. There will be junior golf academies, junior golf tournaments and junior golf camps. Advertising in high-end magazines will support junior golf and promote Accu-Length. It’s no wonder that Rick Rutter is excited about the opportunity to be part of the oncoming boom in South Korean junior golf.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for our company to be an integral part of the growth of junior golf in South Korea," says Rutter. "People in South Korea really want very high- end golf products. With our super premium offering, including extra clubs in the bags, that’s exactly what Accu-Length provides. Koreans are very technically savvy, and they understand the Accu-Length advantage from day one1."
