NEW BEDFORD, Mass., April 16, 2007 – Brittany Lincicome, who joined the AHEAD staff earlier this year to promote the Kate Lord Collection of women’s golf apparel and headwear, won the 2007 LPGA Ginn Open.
The 21-year-old Lincicome started the final round four shots behind Lorena Ochoa and Laura Davies, steady play in tough conditions found her in the winner’s circle at the end of the day. Lincicome shot an even-par 72 to earn her second career LPGA Tour win. The players endured blustery conditions during the final round. Morning storms delayed play for 2 1/2 hours, and once the sky cleared, the wind followed blowing in the 20 -25 mph range. Lincicome’s win was worth $390,000, the third richest purse on tour, advancing her to #2 on the 2007 LPGA official money list.
The Kate Lord Collection that Brittany wears on tour combines classic styles with new technical performance fabrics, resulting in a sharp look both on and off the course. The Kate Lord Collection has enjoyed double-digit growth since its inception in 2004, becoming one of the fastest growing women’s apparel and headwear brands in the industry.
