Athens, Ga., April 12, 2007 – Kevin Krisle was elected by the LPGA Tournament Owners Association (TOA) as ex-officio on the TOA board of directors. The inaugural Ginn Tribute hosted by ANNIKA the week of May 28th will mark Krisle’s first official board meeting. Krisle’s appointment begins a one year-term, with the possibility to extend during the TOA’s Annual Meeting in December 2007.

Kevin Krisle serves as tournament director for The Ginn Tribute Hosted by ANNIKA. As a vice president of events at IMG, Krisle works closely with Ginn Sports Entertainment to direct all aspects of this inaugural LPGA Tour event.
Krisle began his career in sports management in 1996 with the Knoxville Smokies, then the Toronto Blue Jays Double-A minor league baseball team, as an operations and media assistant in Knoxville, Tenn. He moved on to begin his career with IMG in September of 1996 as the pro-am coordinator at the Lexus Challenge Hosted by Raymond Floyd in La Quinta, Ca. Following the Lexus Challenge, he joined the IMG team in Minneapolis, Minn. to coordinate his first LPGA event, as tournament assistant for the Edina Classic. In July 1997, he relocated to Las Vegas, Nev. to become the tournament coordinator for the LPGA Tour Championship (now the ADT Championship). In April 2000, he transferred to Cleveland, Ohio to become an assistant tournament director and lead multiple professional golf events throughout North America.
As vice president of events for IMG, most recently his role has been to serve as tournament director of the ADT Championship and the LG Skins Game. Over the course of his ten years with the company, he has been a part of over 60 professional golf events in three different countries on the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tours. Most recently, in addition to being the tournament director for the ADT Championship and LG Skins Game, his responsibilities have included overseeing the Tavistock Cup held in Orlando, Fla. and the Canadian Skins Game.
A native of Knoxville, Tenn, Krisle earned a bachelor’s degree from Miami University in 1995.
