C-Groove Putters Also Finish Third on LPGA Tour and Third and Eighth on PGA Tour
DENVER, April 16, 2007 – YES! Golf had another outstanding week on the tour with two victories and three top-10 finishes.
The winner of the Nationwide South Georgia Classic made five birdies in the final round to win by one shot using the YES! Tracy putter. On the Duramed FUTURES Tour, the Callie putter once again made its way into the winner’s circle at the Power of the Dream Golf Classic in Frisco, Texas. On the PGA Tour, the YES! Dianna finished third and the Sophia putter finished tied for eighth at the Verizon Heritage in an unusual Monday finish because of high winds on Sunday. Battling similar wind conditions on the LPGA Tour, Laura Davies finished third at the Ginn Open in Reunion, Fla using a YES! Victoria II putter. YES! also finished second in the putter count on the LPGA Tour with 28 putters in play.
"It was another great week for YES! putters on the major golf tours," said Francis Ricci, President and CEO, YES! Golf. "Our strong play each week on tour combined with our new print ad campaign has brought a lot of attention to the brand resulting in strong retail sell through this spring."
Yes! C-Groove putters continue to gain popularity on the professional tours and in the golf shops. YES! putters are currently used by over 200 tour professionals worldwide and have already won six times on tour this year. YES! Golf recently announced that it is tripling its advertising budget for 2007 and currently is running spread ads in the core print golf publications.
