Area’s Third Improvement Center Offers High-Tech Instruction
ROSEVILLE, MN – The use of advanced technology to aid in golf instruction is sweeping the country and is again making its way to the Minneapolis area with the opening of the third area GolfTEC Improvement Center on April 20, 2007. GolfTEC is the leading national chain of golf improvement facilities, providing golfers of all skill levels the opportunity to use digital video, impact analysis, biofeedback technology and motion-evaluation computers to develop their swing. Certified personal coaches provide all instruction in private, indoor bays.
"State-of-the-art technology is the foundation for our approach to golf instruction," said Mickey Soderberg, Director of Instruction for GolfTEC Roseville. "The traditional golf lesson is given by an instructor using only his eyes, or maybe video, but ultimately relies upon the individual opinion of one instructor. The GolfTEC method relies on facts recorded by patented, sophisticated equipment that is analyzed by certified personal coaches."
GolfTEC lessons are provided one-on-one in private, indoor bays to maximize lesson experience. Without the distractions of the golf course, clients can truly focus on improving their game with the guidance of their coach. In addition to the expertise of the coach, clients are given fact-based instruction to help build a game they can trust.
"Golfers love the GolfTEC system because it’s so easy to visualize and understand what needs to be improved. They also enjoy the flexibility of our lessons – weather and darkness don’t affect our ability to give instruction," said Soderberg.
