New Programs, Packages and Merchandise

Boyne Falls, Mich., April 19, 2007 – BOYNE is excited to announce the season opening schedule and improvements to BOYNE’S eight magnificent golf courses including bunker renovations and course enhancements, added instructional options, ladies-only packages, junior and family golf programs and hip new merchandise.

Reserve a tee time, grab the clubs and head to BOYNE to experience some of the best golf in the world as declared by leading golf publications including Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure GOLF, Golf Digest and Golf for Women, among many others. Following is BOYNE’S Michigan course opening schedule:

May 3rd – The Moor

May 4th – The Heather, Crooked Tree Golf Club, The Alpine, The Preserve* and The Quarry*

May 11th -The Monument, Donald Ross Memorial, Arthur Hills and The Links*

(* The Links, Quarry and Preserve are each 9-hole courses that make up the 27-holes at the Bay Harbor Golf Club.)

BOYNE continues with course renovation projects

BOYNE is continuing its bunker renovations projects and upgrading to tour-grade white sand. The bunkers on the Donald Ross Memorial at Boyne Highlands will reach completion this fall, while the bunkers on The Links at Bay Harbor Golf Club will be completed for the season opening. The bunkers on The Heather at Boyne Highlands were upgraded last season in advance of the 2006 Michigan Amateur Championship.

Recent golf course enhancements include the addition of championship tee boxes on holes 5, 9, 11 and 14 of The Heather and hole 14 of The Alpine. The new tees increased the The Heather course length by 175 yards making the play more challenging for single digit handicap golfers and enabling BOYNE to continue hosting grandeur golf tournaments. A total of 240 new EZ-GO golf carts have been added to the Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands fleets as well as six new beverage and snack carts to better service golfers.

BOYNE expands golf schools, ladies packages, and family programs

BOYNE Golf Academy has expanded the successful two- and three-day golf programs for total game improvement. Guests participating in the three-day Academy package now have access to a physical trainer to assist in building individual strength and flexibility to aid in range of motion.

Female golfers are sure to be pleased with the new ladies-only golf packages that include a complimentary $25 gift card for full day admission to Solace Spa at Boyne Mountain or to be applied towards a spa service at any of BOYNE’s three spas. All BOYNE Golf packages now include a $25 gaming voucher for the NEW Odawa Casino in Petoskey, Michigan and guests can also take advantage of transportation to and from the casino courtesy of Odawa Casino!

BOYNE’s junior and family golf program allows golfers age 17 and under to play with a paying adult for FREE during twilight hours and to golf any other time with a paying adult for only the twilight golf fee! Another fantastic way to get the whole family out on the course is through BOYNE Family Fundays, which occur every Sunday starting at 4 PM and allow mothers and juniors to play for FREE!
