DENVER, CO – April 19, 2007 – Golf Life, the nation’s leading independent golf lifestyle television series, will debut its first episode of the 2007 season the week of April 23rd. Highlights of the first episode include a rare behind-the-scenes look at a major equipment launch, and golf tips from the number two-ranked player in the world, Jim Furyk, as well as top senior tour player Fred Funk.
Golf Life has been redesigned for the series’ eighth season and will feature the best aspects of the franchise’s "Golf Life Destinations," "Golf Life Gear," and "Golf Life Academy."
During the first episode, viewers will get a sneak peek inside the workings of a top golf equipment manufacturer as Pinfire Golf unveils the breakthrough technology behind its new line of putters. Golf Life will follow equipment dealers and media reps on the course to capture their first impressions of these avant-garde putters.
Golf Life will be featured on Fox Sports Net (FSN) during the 2007 season. As such, the series will reach approximately 80 million homes in the United States. Each episode of the ten-part series (30-minute episodes) will also be available on Golf Life’s online video channel (http://www.golflifetv.com)
New episodes of Golf Life will be released every two weeks during the 2007 golf season. The second episode will feature a tour of the famed "Blue Monster" at Doral with series host Erica Webster and legendary golf instructor Jim McLean.
