LENEXA, KANSAS (April 24, 2007) – Fresh from an award-winning PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando in January, Accu-Length Expandable Junior Golf Clubs is introducing California-area golfers to their new pink clubs and hybrids at the Haggin Oaks Golf Show, April 27-29, 2007 at the Haggin Oaks Golf Expo in Sacramento, Calif.
Accu-Length has rapidly moved to the forefront of the junior golf club market because of its one-of-a-kind spacer system, which enables the club to lengthen and grow as the child grows. This creates easily custom fit clubs, which allow junior golfers to learn the game more easily and more quickly. Accu-Length clubs come in four series, 500, 1000, 2000 and 3000, offering options for children of 36.5 to 65 inches.
New for 2007, Accu-Length is introducing Pink Sets in both the 500 Series, for children 36.5 to 46.5 inches tall, and the 1000 Series, for golfers 44 inches to 54 inches tall. The AL Pink 1000 Series comes with a 17-degree fairway wood, a 36-degree 7-iron, a pitching wedge and a heel-toe weighted putter, while the Pink 500 Series comes with all but the iron. All clubs are made from high-quality stainless steel for durability and quality. Each Series comes with a dual-strapped carry bag that feature a riser system that guarantees that the clubs will fit into the bag as the clubs are lengthened. The AL Pink 500 Series retails for $119.99 and $149.99 for the AL Pink 1000 Series which has one extra club. Spacers are now sold separately for all clubs and sets, in packs of four, with a retail price of $9.99.
Also new for 2007, Accu-Length’s 4/5 Hybrid is the company’s first product in that category. The club, which is easy to hit out of any type of conditions, is perfect for youngsters. Designed to replace a 4-iron or 5-iron, the club has a 27 or 29-degree loft (depending on the set), a filament wound shaft and stainless steel head. The 4/5 Hybrid comes in the AL1000 (pink and yellow), AL 2000 (red) and AL 3000 (gray) Series and retails for $39.99.
The International Network of Golf named Accu-Length winner in the Product Ingenuity category for emerging companies during its Industry Honors program at the 2007 PGA Merchandise Show, which was held Jan. 25-27 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. Accu-Length was also named one of the "best in show" by Golfing Magazine.
The recent PGA Show honors were not the only major acclamations for Accu-Length’s products in recent months. Accu-Length’s Expandable Junior Golf Clubs were ranked second – out of 16 companies – on Golf Digest’s Hot List of Junior Golf Sets, in the magazine’s August 2006 edition and ranked first in the same publication’s South Africa edition.
