Golf Inc. Magazine Honors Bill Troyanoski, Manager of Castle & Cooke Owned Property in Northern California
(COPPEROPOLIS, California) – Saddle Creek Resort – the 900-acre Castle & Cooke community located two hours east of the San Francisco Bay Area in the scenic Sierra Nevada Foothills – today announces that General Manager Bill Troyanoski has been named one of the 20 "Most Admired Course Operators in the Nation" by Golf Inc. Magazine.
The honor follows a nationwide poll conducted by Golf Inc. Magazine. The May edition will offer the full list, which reads like a who’s who of club professionals and golf directors from around the country. The magazine’s editor-in-chief, Jim Dunlap, said the votes were tallied via mailed and e-mailed ballots.
"I am grateful for this recognition from such a respected magazine and honored to be included with this outstanding peer group," says Troyanoski. "I’d like to thank my staff and Castle & Cooke for their unwavering support in making Saddle Creek such a unique property."
An industry veteran with more than 20 years experience, Troyanoski oversees day-to-day operations, budgeting and personnel for the nationally-ranked, Carter Morrish-designed golf course, award-winning Copper Grille, and 17 on-course bungalows available to guests and members. He is also responsible for developing innovative stay-play-and-dine packages, corporate retreat incentives, and enhancing guest experiences through resort amenities and activities.
As one of the "Most Admired Course Operators in the Nation," Troyanoski was recognized by people in every aspect of the business, including fellow operators, merchandisers, club professionals and more.
"Those on the list are recognized for customer service, honors to the golf course and the way they deal with just about every aspect of the industry," says Golf Inc. Editor-in-Chief Dunlap.
Troyanoski sets high goals for himself and Saddle Creek Resort, a course widely acknowledged as offering one of the best golf experiences in North America. It has earned "best-of" honors and accolades from the ZAGAT Survey, Golf Digest, T+L Golf, Golfweek, Golfing Magazine and Fairways + Greens magazine.
