Los Angeles, CA—Golf Tips Media Group, in conjunction with their primary publication Golf Tips magazine, announced today the launch of its newly redesigned Website, www.golftipsmag.com.
The completely new layout, designed by their in-house Web-dedicated staff, focuses on easy navigation to and within the three primary areas of golfer interest: instruction, equipment reviews and travel tips. Following the lead of Golf Tips magazine, the site will be the game’s most in-depth Web resource available for serious golfers for their game-improving tips, guidance with equipment selection and an insider’s look at resort golf.
Among its many unique features will be the tie-in between Golf Tips Media Group’s five print publications and the Website. Key articles from the magazines will be tagged with a mouse icon to show they continue on the Web—many will be in a video format to better visually demonstrate proper technique and hear comments from each teaching pro. New products and trends will be discussed with the golf industry’s top R&D engineers, many also taking advantage of the video medium. Additionally, narrated slideshows by the well-traveled editorial staff will give virtual tours of the world’s top courses and resort facilities.
"Our main goal was to make the new Website as user-friendly as possible," says Mike Chwasky, Editor of Golf Tips. "We made it a priority to create a fresh new look for our readers and Website visitors."
About Golf Tips Media Group
Golf Tips Media Group has five print publications—Golf Tips Magazine, Golf Equipment Buyer’s Guide, The Best Of Golf Tips, The Golf Instruction Annual and The Golf Travel Annual—in addition to www.golftipsmag.com. These publications are written and edited for the most serious audience in golf—those golfers playing more than once a week, year-round (78+ rounds/year). The editorial content is targeted at the avid player and focuses on three areas: 1) instruction features and tips, 2) equipment reviews and analysis and 3) travel tips and on-course instruction. More textbook than magazine, Golf Tips Media Group’s mission is to educate the reader in the fundamentals and techniques of the game. This combination of print and electronic media content produces the most comprehensive package of information for the serious golfer in the category.
