PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, May 3, 2007 – GolfGym, an industry leader in golf fitness, has teamed with the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) to provide members of this nationwide women’s golf organization with discounts on all GolfGym products.

With its "Golf Fitness Made Simple" philosophy, GolfGym offers easy to use products that help golfers improve their golf fitness level through increased strength, flexibility and coordination. The product line includes the GolfGym PowerSwing Trainer, GolfGym Club 38 and Club 28 weighted trainers, the GolfGym Balance Ball, a PowerGrip Squeasy golf exercise ball, and the GolfGym Game Improvement Series of DVDs featuring fitness expert, Katherine Roberts. The company launched its partnership with the EWGA at the association’s annual conference at PGA National Resort in November 2006. In the coming months, GolfGym will be giving demonstrations at EWGA ‘On Course’ events for executive members at Lake Las Vegas in June and La Costa in September.

"I was very excited to discover the GolfGym PowerSwing Trainer," says Kathy Thomas, a EWGA member of both the Kansas City and Tucson Ariz. chapters and one of the dozens of women who purchased the program at the EWGA conference. "The DVDs quickly guide you through how to effectively use the equipment. When you use the program regularly, you can really tell the difference in your strength and flexibility."

The GolfGym PowerSwing Trainer was introduced in 1987 and has been used by golfers, trainers, coaches and therapists around the world to improve the golf game and golf fitness level of themselves and their clients. Katherine Roberts, Dr. David Wright, Gary Player, Body Balance for Performance and ESPN Golf Schools are among the many that have successfully used the GolfGym program as part of their teaching curriculum.

Since the EWGA started in 1991, more than 80,000 women have benefited from membership in the organization which is dedicated to providing opportunities to learn, play, and enjoy the game of golf for business and for life. There are currently 120 chapters throughout the United States and Canada.

EWGA chapters provide a wide range of golf, social and networking activities for both new and experienced golfers. A welcoming environment, golf education and player development, and organized play programs are part of the many benefits of EWGA membership, which also include discounts on a wide array of golf, apparel, merchandise and services.
