GolfTEC Congratulates Golfsmith on Celebrating Their 40th Anniversary
DENVER – After forming a partnership in 2004 with Austin-based Golfsmith, GolfTEC has seen their locations grow rapidly and successfully with the help of the golf retail giant. As Golfsmith celebrates their 40th anniversary, GolfTEC would like to congratulate them on their success and looks forward to a great partnership as both companies continue their growth.
"We knew that we were forming a great partnership with Golfsmith a few years ago when we agreed upon having our stores located inside Golfsmith stores across the country," says GolfTEC CEO Joe Assell. "I think this partnership has far surpassed any of our expectations to date, and we congratulate Golfsmith on this milestone and look forward to many more."
There are currently 42 GolfTEC/Golfsmith co-locations in cities across the country. As both companies continue to expand, the number of co-locations continues to increase steadily, and there will be at least 49 open by the end of August 2007.
"I think we all knew from the beginning what a symbiotic relationship this would be," says Mike Clinton, COO of GolfTEC. "However, the success of golf in general, and the success we have had working together on both the local level and corporate level has really made this an ideal relationship."
Founded in 1995, Denver-based GolfTEC is a national chain of golf instruction facilities that provides expert teaching for golfers of all skill levels.
