Sanford, FL – Rife Putters would like to congratulate the LPGA and World Golf Hall of Fame Tour Player who used her Rife Aussie blade putter to force a playoff at the SemGroup Championship on the LPGA Tour. She recorded only 25 putts in the final round, including a clutch birdie putt on the 18th hole to force a playoff, and her 2nd Place Finish earned her a paycheck for $127,258.00.
Prior to switching to the Rife Aussie, just 2 weeks ago, her best finish was 60th this season. The Rife Aussie has led her to a T-4th Place Finish at the Ginn Open and now a 2nd Place Finish at the SemGroup Championship. This 2nd Place Finish moved her up 15 spots from 23rd to 8th on the LPGA Tour Money List. She is currently third in career earnings on the LPGA Tour having won just over $11.5 million dollars since 1983 with 31 career Victories including 7 Majors.
This was Rife Putters third Top 10 Finish in as many weeks on the LPGA Tour. Rife has made the same commitment to service the great players on the LPGA Tour as they have on the PGA and Champions Tours over the past two years.
"We’re very excited about the immediate success we’ve had on the LPGA Tour," said Matt Molloy, President of Rife Putters. "If our RollGroove Technology can help one of the greatest LPGA players of all time, just think what it can do for the everyday golfer. We’d like to congratulate her on the two Top 5 Finishes, and wish her continued success on the Tour."
About Rife Putters
All of Rife’s Putters, the 2 Bar line, GR6 Series, and new Island Series putters, are high-end fully CNC milled putters that offer the same patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending LieAline System.
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
