Sanford, FL – Rife Putters captured a Top 10 Finish at the PGA Tour’s "Unofficial 5th Major," The PLAYERS Championship. The T-6th Place Finisher used his Rife Two Bar putter to post 6 under par for the tournament, earning a paycheck for $281,700.00. The Rife Two Bar putter helped him navigate the tricky greens that TPC at Sawgrass is known for.
The challenging course conditions at TPC Sawgrass produced drama and position changes across the leaderboard in Sunday’s final round. At a time when one lost stroke could cost you several hundred thousand dollars, the T-6th Place Finisher put his faith in his Rife putter and it definitely paid off.
The T-6th Place Finisher had been struggling with his flat stick this season, ranked 148th in putting going into the Players Championship, but switched to a Rife Two Bar this week and moved up 18 spots and finished 11th in Putts Per Green averaging 1.674 at this event.
Week in and week out several players on the PGA, Champions and Nationwide Tours rely on Rife’s RollGroove Technology to earn their paychecks. In the past two years Rife Putters have accounted for over $15 Million dollars in earnings on these Tours and each week that number continues to grow. With over $15 Million in earnings and no endorsed players, its obvious that Rife Putters has found that for the Tour Players, winning is everything.
"We’ve put much time and effort into establishing our Tour credibility over the past two years," said Matt Molloy, President of Rife putters. "Many small companies struggle to earn respect and attention on Tour. It’s very difficult when you don’t pay them to use your equipment. Our RollGroove Technology has truly set Rife apart and allowed us to get into many of the Tour Players bags,"
About Rife Putters
All of Rife’s Putters, the 2 Bar line, GR6 Series, and new Island Series putters, are high-end fully CNC milled putters that offer the same patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending LieAline System.
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
