San Diego (May 16, 2007) – Legendary Headwear, a leader in the design and manufacturing of premium headwear and golf apparel, announces Chris Holiday as Executive Vice President of Sales.

On the appointment of Holiday, Legendary’s Chief Executive Officer Thomas Smith said "We welcome Chris to our Executive team. As an integral part of senior management, Chris was responsible for positive, measurable change through impressive sales and service training programs with each of these well known companies. As a veteran executive, Holiday will assist Legendary in creating a "super-charged" sales force and will be responsible for expanding the business into new markets and increasing brand awareness and revenue. Holiday will also oversee customer service and assist in providing quality support and service for the rapidly growing Legendary customer base and sales teams.
With over 30 years of experience, Holiday is credited with increasing sales at Callaway Golf from $20 million to $850 million during his 10-year tenure as Senior Vice President. Most recently, Holiday served as Certified Public Accountant at Putney Financial Group, an investment planning company near San Francisco, CA. Other notable accomplishments include: General Manager and Sr. Vice President of Sales at TaylorMade/Adidas. Holiday also achieved retail success as the owner of a five store retail chain of which was ranked as "Top 100 Golf Shops in America" three times in Golf Shop Operations, by Golf Digest Magazine. In addition, Holiday earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois and is a certified public accountant.
