LAURINBURG, N.C. â?¦ Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that, according to authoritative 2007 Darrell Survey results, the majority of pros who played in the 2007 Players Championship and Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Michelob Ultra Open depended on Golf Pride® grips.

At the 2007 Players Championship 81.4 percent of players in the field used Golf Pride grips on the majority of clubs in their bag. In fact, 17 of the top 22 finishers made Golf Pride grips their grip of choice. Pros also turned to Golf Pride during the 2007 LPGA Michelob Ultra Open at Kingsmill, where they were used by 83.3 percent of all pros who played. Out of a total of 96 players, 80 golfers used Golf Pride grips.

"We continue to be thrilled that top tour professionals are making Golf Pride grips their number one choice," said Jeff Fiorini, general manager for Eaton’s Golf Grip Division.
