Gastonia, NC – AccuFLEX Golf Shafts would like to congratulate the winner of the Regions Charity Classic on the Champions Tour this past weekend. The winner used AccuFLEX Golf’s Icon HL shafts in his hybrids to shoot a final round of 7 under and force a playoff. He captured his second consecutive Regions Charity Classic victory on the third hole of the playoff and became the first Champions Tour player to win the event twice. A winning paycheck of $240,000.00 contributed to AccuFLEX Golf’s weekend total earnings of $354,816.00 for the tournament. This accounted for over 22% of the purse, proving once again that "it pays to play an AccuFLEX Golf shaft."
Along with the Victory, AccuFLEX Golf had three Tops 10 Finishes and a total of 11 shafts in play at the Regions Charity Classic.
