Callaway Golf Eyewear Establishes Unique Dealer/Consumer Support Program

Carlsbad, CA, May 1, 2007 – Callaway Golf Eyewear recently introduced its new Retailer / Consumer support plan for ’07 eyewear. The company will focus on a strategic consumer print ad campaign for the next several months launching in June as well as promoting two unique interactive programs.

‘These two programs are specifically designed to educate, train and allow for first hand experience of our eyewear to both the retailer and consumer’. It is key for the retailer and consumer to understand and experience, first hand, the unique and game enhancing benefits of CGE and Neox Lens technology therefore we have essentially ‘taken it the streets’.

First, by making the consumer brand conscious to Callaway Eyewear, and its superior optical benefit, through a National Ad Campaign.

Next, through equiping the retail sales associate with the information and training needed to become a CGE / Neox lens specialist. We have achieved this through the implementation of a conveniently accessible web based training session whereby the sales associate logs on to ‘Callaway Eyewear College’ then is presented with instructional, technical and educational data. At the end of this session they are directed to an on-line exam testing their knowledge with several key questions. Upon passing this exam they are then rewarded with their own pair of Callaway Golf Eyewear.

These two recent implementations are just an example of ‘what’s come off the drawing board’ for CGE to partner with our retail accounts ensuring their ongoing success’ reports Marcel Schiro VP of Sales and Marketing for Callaway Golf Eyewear.
