Sonartec SS Series still performing

Duluth, GA (May 23rd, 2007) – The AT&T Classic winner used a Sonartec SS Series 3.5 15 degree club to capture his second win of the 2007 PGA Tour season and his third career win in the state of Georgia. The 2007 Masters Champion came from three shots back on Sunday to win AT&T Classic on the first playoff hole. The Drake University graduate trusted his Sonartec SS Series fairway metal to finish 27 feet closer than the field average on 250 – 275 yard approach shots. The accuracy of his long approach shots led him to card six birdies on par fives for the week.

"We are so thrilled at Sonartec Golf to see our golf clubs continue to perform on tour week-in, week-out," says Bob Gotfredson, Vice President of Sales for Sonartec Golf. "Now that we are introducing the GS Tour to all professional golfers, we hope to continue our winning tradition and cement our reputation as a premium fairway metal manufacturer," says Gotfredson.

Sonartec Golf, a Carlsbad-based company, is a pioneer in the fairway metal and hybrid market, and recently introduced the GS Tour which is powered by the "Red Ice"â?¢ shaft. Their innovative Driving Cavity technology produces extremely forgiving, high performance equipment designed for golfers of all skill levels. In less than seven years the company has recorded more than 94 worldwide wins, including two British Opens and a Masters.
