Douglas, the former JGAA first vice president ascended to the presidency when Sean Ferris accepted the full-time position as assistant executive director of the JGAA. Replacing Douglas will be Jeff Reich, who has served on the JGAA Board for the past four years. … Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, N.J., hires Ray Viera as director of grounds. … The American Society of Golf Course Architects welcomed six new associate members — John Cope of North Palm Beach, Fla.; Jim Engh of Castle Rock, Colo.; Ted Robinson Jr. of Laguna Beach, Calif.; Phil Smith of Scottsdale, Ariz.; Bryce Swanson of Montclair, N.J.; and Ken Williams of Toledo, Ohio — to its ranks at the group’s recent 61st annual meeting in Atlanta, Ga.
