POWAY, Calif. – Aldila’s NV helped drive one player over $1 million in Nationwide Tour earnings and helped another win a Major. The Melwood Prince George’s County Open winner was using the Aldila NV Protopype shaft in his driver as he dialed in a one-shot victory on the Nationwide Tour. The 68th Senior PGA Championship winner was also using Aldila’s NV shaft in his Driver and Hybrid as he posted his first win in 23 years and captured the Champions Tour’s first Major of 2007.
Aldila was also the Hybrid shaft count winner on the PGA, Nationwide, Champions, and LPGA Tours for the second consecutive week and they also won the wood shaft manufacturer count on the PGA and Nationwide Tours.
The use of Aldila shafts is not only on the rise on each of the Tours, but they also have a tremendous consumer following. According to the Darrell Survey U.S. National Consumer Survey, Aldila was the leading graphite shaft manufacturer for new drivers, fairway woods and hybrid clubs for 2006.
The Aldila NVâ?¢ features exclusive aerospace materials and incorporates Aldila’s exclusive Micro Laminate TechnologyTM that provides the players enhanced power, consistent flex and precise feel. The dampening advantages of the Micro Laminate Technology have eliminated distracting and destructive "shock". The result is a slim, stable design that maximizes distance, improves accuracy and offers the "perfect feel" the NV is famous for. The Aldila NV is available for woods and irons in a variety of weights and tip sizes.
