Titleist is also the Tee-to-Green Favorite across All Major Equipment Categories at Men’s Championship.

Fairhaven, MA (June 4, 2007) – In collegiate golf, the players compete for themselves, their team and their school. That’s why when deciding which golf ball to play at the 2007 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships, their most important on-course test of the year, the overwhelming majority placed their trust in the Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x.
At the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship, 90 percent of the field, or 140 of 156 players, relied upon Titleist golf balls, more than 23 times the nearest competitor with 6.
Titleist also was the leading tee-to-green choice of more players than any other brand across every major golf club category, including drivers, fairway metals, utility irons, iron sets, approach, sand and lob wedges and putters.
In fact, the individual men’s champion, a freshman who finished with a pair of 6-under 64s en route to a two-shot win, relied upon the New Pro V1x golf ball, PT 906F2 fairway metal (15.0), 690CB irons (2-P), Vokey Design sand (54) and lob (60) wedges, and a Scotty Cameron by Titleist Studio Stainless putter.
It was more of the same at the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship, where over 91 percent of the field, or 115 of the 126 players, relied upon Titleist golf balls, compared to 10 for the nearest competitor. The individual women’s champion, who fired a 6-under 282 to win by four shots, relied upon a New Pro V1 golf ball for her success.
