South Korean Native Goes With 23 Degree Hybrid
Muirfield Village, OH (June 3, 2007) – The winner of The Memorial Tournament used a Sonartec MD Hybrid 23 degree club to capture his fifth Tour victory. The South Korean superstar shot a final round 7-under-par-65 that included four consecutive birdies. The victor made up a five-stroke deficit to hold off a dozen contenders who were within striking distance. It was an especially poignant victory for the champion to win Jack Nicklaus’ tournament because he was inspired to take up the game after reading Golf My Way, the host’s influential pictorial instruction book.
"We at Sonartec are pleased that the MD continues to rack up wins on professional tours around the world and especially on the prestigious PGA Tour," said Toru Kamatari, President of Sonartec. "We would like to congratulate the champion and thank him for supporting our products."
