TAMARACK, Idaho – Osprey Meadows at Tamarack Resort – the Robert Trent Jones Jr. signature design named America’s best-new upscale resort course by Golf Digest Magazine – announces the hiring of Richard Stanwood as Teaching Professional.
An experienced, well-regarded instructor, Stanwood will lead the Osprey Meadows Golf Academy with a full array of lessons and clinics ranging from half-hour practice facility clinics to Stay, Play and Learn packages that start at $172 per person per night and include one night lodging, a half-hour private lesson and a round of golf.

The Osprey Meadows Golf Academy is equipped with teaching tools such-as the Launch Monitor and video analysis with Dart Fish technology, which allows instructors to capture the swing in a frame-by-frame sequence for better display and understanding.

Stanwood, who attended Boise State University on a golf scholarship in the 1970s, has held positions ranging from Teaching Professional to Director of Golf throughout his years in the business. Some of the notable courses at which he has worked include: Ontario G.C., Purple Sage G.C., Rancho Canada C.C., Laguna Seca Resort and Meadow Creek Golf and Field Club.
