In honor of last week’s celebration of "Women’s Golf Week," Digital Golf (www.DigitalGolf.tv) proudly hosted a golf clinic for the attendees of the Pink Ladder Organization’s business conference at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, TX.
Women executives from across the country attended the business conference that focused on networking and personal and professional empowerment for the purpose of facilitating career advancement in the corporate world.
"It was such a pleasure to see women who had never set foot on a golf course really enjoying themselves and really excited about playing golf," says Nichole Neal Walker, co-founder and general counsel of Digital Golf. Ms. Walker was one of the featured speakers at the conference, speaking on the topic of entrepreneurship.
Many of the executives had never picked up a golf club before, but had a clear understanding of the growing importance of golf in Corporate America in which many business deals are conducted on the golf course.
"As more and more women continue to break the glass ceiling in business, golf has become a necessary skill for career advancement," says Ms. Walker.
In the next few weeks, Digital Golf will be launching a special feature on its Website dedicated to encouraging women’s participation in the game of golf.
