(Vanajanlinna, Finland – June 18, 2007) Linna Golf, Europe’s best new course and a member of the PGA European Tour Courses group, has announced the opening of its new, luxury clubhouse, with ultra-modern golf suites, holiday apartments and spa, overlooking the 18th green.
The striking, rustic-style clubhouse, beautifully converted from 80-year-old farm buildings, includes 18 golf suites, each with their own private sauna and views over the acclaimed golf course on the shores of Vanajanlinna lake, just an hour’s drive from Helsinki.

Linna Golf, which will host the 2010 European Amateur Championships, converted the old, brick-built barns and stores, part of a historic hunting estate, to complement the exquisite Vanjanlinna Hotel, Finland’s only castle hotel.
The new luxury clubhouse features a top class restaurant, professional’s shop, and locker rooms featuring traditional Finnish saunas, Turkish steam saunas and Jacuzzi. The Linna Golf clubhouse spa is available for use by guests and visitors and offers health and wellness treatments, including Asian, Swedish and herbal oils massage.
The clubhouse houses 12 of the 18 golf suites on its second and third floors, while six grand apartments are located in a separate building adjacent to the clubhouse. All suites feature a living room, kitchenette, bedrooms, bathroom and sauna.

Linna Golf suites are for sale and the owners are able to use them on an unlimited basis with the option to rent them out through the Vanajanlinna Hotel, with agreed profits forwarded on to the owner.
