Numerous May Installations Generate $1.4 Million Revenue
Vancouver, CANADA – GPS Industries, Inc (GPSI) (OTC BB: GPSN.OB), a global media and technology solutions provider, is pleased to announce the installation of their patented Wi-Fi powered, advertising enhanced GPS systems, at six international golf destinations, including the renowned Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club in British Columbia, Canada. These installations were all completed in May and represent approximately $1.4 million in revenue to the Company.
Described as "Mountain golf at it’s finest," by Links Magazine and rated 41âå?2 stars by Golf Digest, Chateau Whistler is a truly spectacular golf course and also serves as the western North American home to the David Leadbetter Golf Academy.
Other courses installed in May include: the Golf Club of Indiana, a popular public facility in picturesque Zionville, which plans to extend the Company’s unique WiFi capabilities to a surrounding residential community to be developed in 2008; the Links at Moses Pointe in Washington, where 72 carts are now enhanced with Inforemerï?¢HD displays; Alberta Springs, near Red Deer, Alberta in Canada; rustic Spring Creek Ranch Resort in Jackson, Wyoming and Aspen Lakes Recreation Center, nestled in the shadows of Oregon’s Three Sisters.
