CHAMP is Champ again at Two Different Tournaments
Marlborough, MA-July 3rd, 2007- During one of the hottest weeks of the summer, CHAMP Spikes didn’t work up a sweat capturing a win on the European PGA at the Open de France Alstom tournament and on the Duramed Futures Tour.
Overseas, at the Open de France Alstom Tournament on the European PGA Tour, the winner sported the CHAMP Pro Stingerâ?¢ spike as he finished 7-under 277. The winner stormed back from a five stroke deficit in becoming the 14th first time winner on the European PGA this season. He chose the only hybrid spike in golf, the Pro Stingerâ?¢, which provides unsurpassed traction with its metal center tip and cushion with the outer traction elements for a truly unique spike.
In Southern Pines, North Carolina at the 2007 LPGA U.S. Open, an impressive 88% percent of the golfers who wore CHAMP chose to change from the spikes that originally came in their shoes.
Meanwhile, the entire field at the Duramed Futures Tour chose CHAMP Spikes.
CHAMP is the official spike of the Duramed Futures Tour and is the sponsor of the annual upcoming CHAMP Eastern Challenge, which runs for six weeks at East Coast tournaments.
