Ed Mitchell, President of Mitchell® Golf Equipment Institute announced today the addition of a new training school to its line up of popular club performance training classes. The Shaft Performance Technology School makes its debut July 16-18. This new 3-day school explains how the golf shaft can improve shot making. Students learn advanced frequency matching, frequency gradients, proper tip trimming, profiling, spine/flo methods, and how to determine shaft flexes & compare shaft specifications from one manufacturer to another.
Ed Mitchell states, "The golf industry has embraced the fact that golfers want club performance repair upgrades just like tour professionals receive every week. Having different shaft options is an important part of performance upgrades. That is why club performance specialist must know and understand the performance specifications of all the different shafts available. This new school teaches the methods for determining those performance specifications and how to apply them for the best fit."
