LAURINBURG, N.C. â?¦ Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that, according to authoritative 2007 Darrell Survey results, the majority of LPGA professionals who played in the 2007 U.S. Women’s Open Golf Tournament depended on Golf Pride® grips.
Golf Pride grips were used by nearly 78 percent of all pros who played in the 2007 U.S. Women’s Open Golf Tournament held at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C., from June 28 – July 1. In fact, out of a total of 156 players, 121 golfers (77.6 percent) used Golf Pride grips.
"We’re delighted to see so many players on the LPGA tour using new Golf Pride grip models to play their best," said Jeff Fiorini, general manager for Eaton’s Golf Grip Division.
