Playing a driver custom-fit with a Proforce V2 shaft, Paul ‘Hammer Time’ Glazier smashed a final-round, 372-yard drive to win the 2007 RE/MAX Long Drive Championship of Italy at the Marco Simone Golf Club just outside of Rome.
The Italian championship took Glazier’s tally of LDE Order of Merit points to 25 out of a possible 30, five more than this year’s runner- up. Meanwhile, another RE/MAX competitor equipped with a Proforce V2 LD shaft captured third-place with final 359-yard drive in his first outing of the season.
