(WORLEY, Idaho) – Circling Raven Golf Club – the award-winning amenity of the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort & Hotel in the Idaho panhandle – today announces retired Major League Baseball star Dave Henderson played the award-winning Gene Bates-designed golf course today, becoming the latest celebrity to seek out Circling Raven to play.
Henderson’s career spanned 14 seasons (1981-1994) and included him averaging more than 20 homes runs and 75 RBI per season. He played longest with the Seattle Mariners and Oakland Athletics posting six seasons with each. His best season was with Oakland in 1988 when he hit .304, 24 home runs and 94 RBI and finished 13th in the American League Most Valuable Player voting.

About Circling Raven Golf Club
Owned and operated by the Coeur d’Alene Tribe and convenient to Spokane (WA) airport, the resort and golf club are nestled on a reservation covering 345,000 acres of mountains, lakes, old-growth forest and farmland. The resort spans the western edge of the northern Rocky Mountains.

Circling Raven was created amid a unique blend of wetlands, grasslands and woodlands. At 7,189 yards, the par 72 championship layout meanders through 620 acres, only 100 representing cultivated ground. Wildlife is abundant, including elk, deer, moose and an occasional black bear. In fact, the opening was delayed due to damage on two greens by migrating elk.
